Name for a Dog Groomers

Hi,

Just looking for some ideas! Finally moving on from a salon to going self employed in my own salon and trying to come up with the name is the hardest bit!

Wondering what ideas others here on Mumsnet would think were good names for a Groomers!😁

@cungryhow my DP loves the name doggy styles, he's suggested it a few times but I'm just not sure if it's too inappropriate or not🙈😂

Limit is actually a bit of a negative term for a business name, how about, Combing the Skyes?
They are a very rare breed though, when my darling was born she was one of 44 born that year registered with the kennel club.
But if people don’t at first get the name it maybe gives you a chance to sell yourself, esp as you already have a Skye on your books.

If it’s mobile grooming you could do things like Wags & Wheels etc. Or something depending on location, like Country Canine Spa etc.

I would try out some names in a domain checker too, as you will need to set up a web site.

@Allquestionsaregood yeah that is a very good point! I love the name although think a lot of people would just assume the Skye is for a dogs name rather than a breed! Like you say though, good as a selling point!

@blastthepast it will definitely be the more affordable, I live in quite a small area, not a large city or anything so want to keep it affordable 😁
