Realised yesterday my Golden Retriever has worms ☹. Evidence of 3 different types in what came out both ends (sorry if tmi) ...grains of rice looking things which I believe are tapeworm, an actual round dead worm thing and little slug like things. Went straight to vets for worming tablets. She hasn't passed anything now for 24 hrs and seems perkier today so that's a positive.
However, I'm paranoid about us catching them. The grass outside must be infested with eggs after she'd done her business on it? Then we walk on it, taking shoes off in utility, but that's where dogs been lying....then she comes in lounge...I'm thinking they'll be all over floors 😱. I'm washing our bedding and will wash and replace daily whatever she's been sitting on. I'm going to hoover and damp dust. What else can I do? There's only so much I can do? I'm also scared as Google says dont shake stuff...well, day before yesterday , before I knew, I shook and shook her hairy throw as it needs a wash....Google says eggs can fly up in the air then you breathe them in 😮....am I already doomed? Pls tell me you went through all this and didnt get them. I need talking down! Thanks
