Puppy not pooping soon after meals

We’ve only had her a day, but she ate breakfast had a wee and a play and has now been asleep for two hours. No poo though...

She needs to feel comfortable

The advice is they’ll need to poo 30mins after eating but ours never has.
Morning, lunch, and evening here, regardless of meal times.

Ours is 8 weeks, and is only doing 3 or 4 poos a day a lot of the time. She usually poos after waking up, rather than after eating.
Before long I'm sure she will reward you with a lovely pile (and will probably then walk through it and spread it.......)

Mine didn't poo for a day after we got her either... needed to to relax I guess.
Prolific ever since tho!

My 3.5 year old pooped straight after every meal.

My 12 weeks old pops when we get up, before breakfast not after, then 1-2 hours after her other meals.

Never poos straight after a meal.

Our 13 week old puppy hasn't pooped straight after meals either. He goes as soon as he gets up, about an hour after lunch and then in the evening too, maybe 2 hours after dinner.

As a puppy BiteyDog never pooed after meals. Could have been an hour or so afterwards.

As an adult he is like clockwork straight after breakfast.
