Top tips for grooming a dog who hates it

I have a small husky cross (pomsky) who sheds A LOT
We rehomed him and the previous owners gave us a glove brush thing, I think that’s all they’ve ever used.
I’ve invested in a few proper brushes but he absolutely hates it. I don’t think he was ever properly groomed.
Any top tips for helping grooming become an enjoyable experience for all?

I have a dog who needs regular grooming. I started off really slowly. Giving him treats just being around the brush and then just touching him with it gently and rewarding him. This over a couple of weeks and then I have slowly and gently built this up. He is now nearly 7 months old and I brush him every day and he I think he actually quite likes it now.
Having the dog on a lead helps a lot too x

My dog also hates it.

Unfortunately I have to brush her everyday because although her fur is generally quite fine it's very thick on her pants and ears and matts without regular combing.

I do give her treats sometimes and she stands still and tolerates it but she really hates it, treats or no treats.

My longcoat german shepherd is twelve years old and still hates being brushed. But she tolerates it because she knows she will get biscuits afterwards.

My dog hates it so I get him clipped regularly, although it would be better for him to have his fur longer and get hand stripped a couple of times a year. I've found a groomers that he really enjoys going to, well, doesn't dislike as much as others at least.

I do still need to brush him a bit so I put a pig's ear or other high value treat on the kitchen counter where he can see it but not reach it. If he doesn't cooperate with brushing then I stop and the treat gets instantly put away. He got the message very quickly and now grudgingly tolerates the brushing because he really, really, really loves pig's ears.

I’ve started carrying the brush without moving towards him while DP fusses him and he is already calmer, before he was unsettled as soon as I touched it.
Slow and steady, I’ll just have to put up with him looking scruffy for a few more weeks
Because of his husky coat we won’t get him clipped but would possibly have him brushed by a groomer. I just worry because he can be a little snappy if he’s backed into a corner or fearful of a new person.
