What is this rash on my lurcher??

It isn't raised, nor bothering him... but he's had it for a few days now.

Really unsure if it's worth a trip to the vets or to maybe put my sons oilatum on it?

Any ideas?

I'd say it's a grass rash - looks very similar to what my boy had in his tum.
Try some oat powder and see how you go.

Grass rash will likely calm down in a day or so. If not would take to vet.

Yes my wired hair terrier gets that too as he hasn't got much fur on the belly! please tell me about Oat powder?

Literally oats ground to powder in a pestle and mortar or food processor and used like talc. It's messy but very effective. It was suggested to me by a friend and I was amazed how well it worked.

How's the rash?
