She is GORGEOUS! Wishing you much happy times ahead.

Looks like a Fudge, but 2 syllable names are better. Fudgie maybe, or how about MN favourite Biscuit Biscuit. or Tablet. or Tabitha. or Toffy. Or Carmel.

Zoeputthatdown · 12/07/2019 16:12

What a sweetheart, OP. I like Bailey and the name I was going to suggest is already mentioned, Bella.

The noblest of hounds.

The noblest of hounds

Indeed.

(Massively relieved somebody got that reference...)

Kanga83 · 12/07/2019 16:18

Waffle- then every child under 6 will think you own the actually Waffle Doggy

MustardScreams · 12/07/2019 16:35

@TheRealMrsHopper that’s good! I have just seen so many 6/7/8 month old dogs given up to rescues because people think they’re getting cute little fluffy teddies and don’t realise how much energetic, prey-driven, destructive and difficult dogs can be. I wasn’t meaning to get your back up, but it’s always worrying when someone says they don’t know what they’re letting themselves in for!

TheRealMrsHopper · 12/07/2019 17:14

That's ok Mustard, I know where you are coming from. We have thought long and hard about getting a pup and then done loads of research about which bread of dog we would be best suited to and this is the one Smile it will be hard work, I have no doubt, but we are prepared and know this is the right time and the right pup. Just want to get her home and welcome her to our family.

Need to get this name sorted, it's harder than naming the kids lol Wink

Thanks Hairy, my friend has a cocker spaniel and she has warned me about the matting so I'll get her used to being groomed ASAP, hopefully the breeder has been.

Thanks for your kind words everyone. Favourites seem to be Fudge, Bailey and Bella.

Bella's one of the most popular dog names. You don't want to be calling for her in the park and have someone else's DDog come (or vice versa). (We had a family do with several DDogs, two were called Bella, one of them was naughty and kept getting told off, the other looked continually extremely puzzled she was (she thought) being told off when she was being a good girl ;)

Purplecatshopaholic · 13/07/2019 09:33

Wow, she’s gorgeous. My boy doggie is the light of my life (along with my cats. Mind you I have had to rename one FFS Cat as she is somewhat naughty!) I wish you much joy with your new addition

Accountant222 · 13/07/2019 09:40
