What's this on my dogs leg?

Do i need to take him the vets? Hes been licking it abit but not massively, doesn't seem in pain.

I think you might need to take him. Could he have got something in it?

If he was my dog, I would pop him along to a vet. If he's licking it, then it must be irritating him. I haven't a clue what it is, hope he's feeling better soon.

Do you have a cone to stop him licking it?

My dog gets lots of scrapes and grazes and a couple of days of stopping him licking them is enough to clear them up. If it doesn't get better a vet visit is always worth doing for peace of mind.

Could he have licked/chewed off a tick? That's what my dog has done before...if you look closely you may see the mouth piece still in the skin...small black bits.
