Looks like a Chocolate Lab cross of some form to me.
OH half said it looks like Scooby Doo, but Scooby is a Great Dane and they are definitely not medium

Definitely looks like a red pinscher but could be some sort of cross breed, ridgeback cross maybe?

Could also be a terrier cross of some kind or even a complete mix that looks like it should be something

Would have gone for a Ridgeback mix with something smaller if you say its medium sized. Need better pics/ one with face/ one with side view. Visla also a possibility but looks a bit chunky/ big boned. Possibly a bad pic?
