And if so, what are they like? Thinking about getting two once our two Parson Russells have gone, but don't know anyone in real life who has one.

If you must get a puppy, stay away from the overpriced mixed breeds who will likely come badly bred from puppy farmers in it just for profit, go for a pedigree from a working line. At least them you know you are getting a healthy dog. Or even better, get a rescue. "borador" isn't a breed, its a silly made up name for a cross bred dog.

Please look into Littermate Syndrome before you get 2 puppies (even if the puppies are from different litters). It rarely works out well.

Could you look to rehome a bonded pair from a rescue? I often see pairs of dogs on our local rescue group page. Sometimes they're around for a while because people don't want to take on two but if you're looking for two it would be great.
