Anyone have one? We have 2dd's aged 4 and 9 and have fallen in love with this breed. We are not rushing into adding to our family for at least a year or so to make sure.
I Would like to know the pros, cons, how did you decide where to get your pet from.

This is Peggy who we met at our local Sainsbury's

We have/had 4 goldendoodles in our family. Amazing dogs. None have shed. Beautiful temperaments and personality. Beautiful looking.
However, they were standard poodle x golden retrievers so did end up being large dogs. I think you can get so called ‘comfort doodles’ that are miniature poodle crosses?

@Nesssie that's really good to know. Thank you.

Another poodle owner here and I agree with what previous posters have said - You have a far better chance of knowing what you're getting with a poodle and far less likely to end up with one from a backyard breeder, as hardly anyone wants pure poodles. They're clever, funny, energetic and affectionate - we have a mini and he'll walk for miles with us but is also happy with shorter walks. We have him in a pet clip and he is frequently mistaken for a poodle cross - I think people don't expect to see pure poodles now!

@FoxesAreFabulous he is absolutely beautiful. We are definitely also considering a poodle.
