Small dog just brought in a rat!

Patterdale terrier just semi killed a rat and brought it in my kitchen! Then just barked at it! Argh

She has been searching for it for weeks, since we moved in. I knew she could sense something there, in the garden in. Certain spot. I just hope she doesn't get the rest of the family! Yuk!

O god Patterdales!! To be fair my JRT is more likely to do this than my patterdale. Did the rat run away OP?

No, the rat was pretty much dead. Looked dead but would twitch every now and then which was horrible! Poor thing!

I'd be very proud! My terriers love squirrels lately. Got a few in the garden. They'd love a rat to come in
