Gone from diarreah to constipation in 24 hours??

My pup had diarreah for 24 hours so we took her to the vet.

She had a temperature and water poops so she was given an antibiotic shot. 3 days of antibiotics and 2 medicines to stabilise her bowel and help stop the pooing.

Since 11pm yesterday she hasn't pooped.

She s gone from squirting water to nothing.

Is that w hats supposed to happen.

When should I get concerned?

The medicines will have bound her up - I would phone the vet and double check that that's the expected result and not something like a blockage, though.

Is she ok in herself?

How old is she? Is she eating? If she isnt eating she may have poo'd everything out. Is she vomitting? How is she in herself?

The answers to these questions would be the difference between wait and see, call vet in the morning or emergency vet tonight.

She almost 15 weeks.
She is eating and drinking normally.
She is bouncy and happy.

Her last poop was actually 3am and it was water.

Since then she has had her 3 daily meals and treats today but no poo.

She is currently chasing and empty water bottle round the room.

Has she tried to go?

If not she’s probably just empty tbh...

Give vet a call in morning but she sounds fine

She pooped!

It was small but solid.
