What made you choose your dog? How did they find their way into your family?
I wanted a show springer because my first dog as a child was one and he defined all dogs, for me. I chose this one because the breeder was excellent and I wanted one of her dogs. As luck (or a history of inbreeding) would have it, despite the breeder not being linked at all to our first dog, Battendog IS a distant relation of him.
What is your pups favourite toy?
Whatever is new.
Favourite treat?
Fudge. But he can't have that, so hot dog.
Doggy preference - Long walk or snuggle on couch?
Looooong walk, followed by a walk and then capped off with a walk.
What is your pup afraid of?
Bins when they have been out out for collection.
Favourite memory with your pup?
Our last walk the afternoon before I had to go back to work after being off for his first 8 months home. Beautiful May day, through a meadow. Just perfect.
And finally, would you ever get another dog?
Yes. We have two Jack Russells too (not formally my dogs) who are older. When they go, I suspect there will be a vacancy needs filling.
