So he's 10 on Friday and usually very placid. He gets an hour's walk off the lead every day, he's still happy to go on walks and very bright in him self, but he's certainly packing on a few pounds now which the vets have called 'middle aged spread' so I've taken his food quantity down from 150g of the low fat Millie's Wolfheart to about 125g because he needs to lose weight.
He's currently sitting at 22kg and he needs to get down to 17kg, I blame my mum who visits every day and feeds him constantly. Anyway! Background done!
He's started chewing shoes again, and anything his can fit in his mouth. Very frustrating! He's been to the vet and he's definitely not in pain or has any teeth issues. Is it just because he's hungry? He chewed DHs foam roller last night, he's suddenly gone from being able to reliably leave him for a couple of hours to not knowing if he's going have chewed whatever he can find. We are moving house, could he be stressed?
Please help me help my dog and save our shoes!
