Best book / website for puppy care?

Is there a really good, useful, sensible puppy manual that anyone can recommend? Or website? Every time I google anything to do with puppies I just get a load of gumtree or pets4homes links... I really want to do the best job I can and would love a properly good advice manual (or website) from a reputable organisation!

The Perfect Puppy by Gwen Bailey is good, goes from before you bring them home through to adulthood. She also has one called Puppy School which is more focused on training.

Perfect puppy is supposed to be excellent.
If you use FB there's always the great group dog training advice and support. Pages of info about bringing a pup home and toilet training etc. Run by professionals. But free!!

Happy Puppy Handbook by Pippa Mattinson - I found this to be very pragmatic, balanced and informative.
