Considering RAW diet but what do you do when travelling

We are getting a GSP puppy at the end of the month and I am considering a RAW diet for him. Will probably start using Nutriment until we are a bit more experience with raw and then move on to adding some DIY too.

I have requested to join Raw Feeding UK on Facebook as suggested on other threads here.

However, we will be taking DDog with us when we visit family and eventually on holidays in Britain and abroad. I am not of the fanatical type, and so would not be too fussed with adding in cooked meat/premium grain free kibble for these occasions but am keen to know if there are BARF solutions?

What do you do?

I use the cooked meat/kibble option when I am away. Every couple of weeks or so I add a day of this feed into his normal routine to keep him used to it, so to speak, so it's not such a big change when we do go away.

I have no problem in the UK - Elfpup gets "downgraded" to a raw brand I can get in Pets at Home or any half decent pet shop near my holiday location and I chose a cottage with a freezer.

When he was on a premium cooked food I just filled the cool box with the packs and it lasted fine until we got to the cottage.

Cool box :)

We just take it with us in a cool box.
