Worried about dogs leg after operation

My goldie had a general anaesthetic to have a cyst removed on his back. They shaved a bit of his leg for ‘something’ - injection etc. It’s not his first general and last time he was fine.

However I was wiping him down when he came in wet earlier and noticed his leg was a bit sore looking so I diluted some hibiscrub and gently wiped it and now his leg looks like this. The op was 4 weeks ago. I’ll call the vet tomorrow but I’m a bit worried. The hair is literally just lifting off.

It looks sore. I hope you got it sorted. Usually with something like that, a secure covering with say a medical pet sleeve should do the trick. It keeps things clean and dry and stops the dog worrying the area, allowing the sore patch to dry out and heal.

How's he doing?

It looks to me as though the skin there is infected, has he been licking it possibly ?
