young Labrador barking at dogs on TV and through window

One minute we are sat quietly relaxing watching tv when the bloody dog will leap up and launch herself at the telly, hackles up etc.

Also, we will be going about our business in the house and she will launch herself at the window barking etc.

Please, any tips or similar experiences? She has one long walk every day, including running and fetching etc.

I will arrange to see a behaviourist, just thought I would try here first.

Mine will be lying there and then suddenly growl or bark. I just figure that he has heard something he doesn't like and is warning us that there may be an intruder or danger. I just thank him for letting me know Grin

Mine does this too, like Bitey we just thank her and generally she calms down. Sometimes we have to go and chase off imaginary intruders but once she has checked the perimeter she generally calms down.
