Vacuum for dog hair

With the turn of the season my shelties’ fur is EVERYWHERE.

We have a dyson cordless and the fur is just getting trapped in the rotating brush. I have to clean it out every few minutes and right now I’m vacuuming twice a day so it’s just tedious work (along with regular brushing of course).

Any good vacuum cleaner recommendations for houses with long haired dogs???

I have a dyson animal, I spend more time unclogging the bloody thing than I do vacuuming. I have a rott and a cairn. How they are not bald eludes me.

Glad it’s not just me! Everyone goes on about them being good for pet hair as well!?

I used to have a wee cairn - love of my life!!

Shark rocket pet.

I've got a Miele Cat & Dog. It's OK and the only things that cause me to have to unclog the brush are not dog hairs (just cotton threads, string, etc)

I second Shark. Two dogs and it's the best vacuum I've ever owned!

I’m desperate for a Shark. Husband says no. Dyson is shit.

Thanks guys! Will be looking into a shark next for sure. Bloody dyson.
