Weird sores after kennels stay

Does anyone know what this is? He (cocker) has another identical one on the other side they are both above his canines. I picked him up from the kennels today. Otherwise he seems very well and isn't as manic as I thought he would be. The using kennels wasn't my first choice - long story but wondering about the weird lesions?

If they're new, get them checked out at the vet. Could be one of a number of things, maybe rubbing it on kennel bars, but for peace of mind I'd take them in. And ask the kennels

The position and the fact that they are bilateral means it's probably not this... BUT... lesions sometimes occur on the face (as well as more commonly on the feet/legs) in Alabama Rot. I'd get him straight to the vet.

Are they on the inside as well? Did the kennel give you a report when you picked him up about his stay with them, did anything happen? At the very least I would have epected them to pick up on it.

I expect he had been poking his nose through the bars and due to the size of the canines this is where his muzzle was rubbed. Mine gets the same on the top of his nose (bigger dog so his nose is all that fits!)

Nothing on the inside and completely bi lateral. Poking his nose through the bars is what I first thought. They are healing g fast so I'm not worried now I know other dogs have managed to self harm this way! Thanks all
