Is 9pm too early for puppy to go to bed for the night

New rescue pup (12 weeks), really chilled out and lovely. Has been doing lots of wees and poos outside (only one wee accident on the kitchen floor today). Took him out at about 8.30pm and he did two wee's and he fell asleep in his crate just before 9pm a bit earlier than I had been planning.

Is this a bit early for bedtime? If he's still asleep by 10pm can I safely go to bed. If he wakes before then is he going to be reluctant to go straight back once I've taken him out for another toilet break?

He'll certainly need to be taken out for a wee when he wakes in the night. Are you planning to sleep near by so you can hear if he wakes?

Yes he's in the kitchen but planning on sleeping on the sofa in the lounge next door.

That's good. Listen for when he wakes and take him out for a wee. Don't know if you're on Facebook but this group has excellent advice m.facebook.com/groups/374160792599484?view=permalink&id=1574274172588134
