Help naming male springer puppy

Hi we are getting a puppy on Friday. He is currently called big boy by the breeder because he is chunky. But I can't be calling 'come here big boy' in the park!!

He is a liver and white with no white markings on his face or tail. He reminds me of an ewok from Star Wars.

Current suggestions are:
Dave
Buddy
Charlie
Aran
Taff (don't ask my DP is Welsh)
Baggins

Everyone has their favourite but no one can agree on the same name! Would appreciate your input on which is best or any new suggestions gratefully received!

I did consider that, at the moment I'm calling him bud for the want of something better (as in buddy). Will have a family conference at the weekend and see if we can decide

Oh well the dog/cat shenanigans have begun. Curious puppy and cat with a much wider sense of personal space. My cat isn't attacking puppy but batting him on the nose when he is too friendly and invading her space.

Happened twice so far. Both still choosing to be in the same room and there have been a couple of non violent nose to nose exchanges. Will take a while for them to be comfortable with each other.

Fortunately my cats (i have three Blush) are all under 1 year old and I'm hoping as pup came from a house with two cats and four dogs they will learn to get along. Currently got a puppy on my knee and a cat on my head Hmm

My tom is basically ignoring pup and carrying on like he isn't here!

My other girl is curious but keeping her distance. Only the one queen who is both completely fascinated and a bit scared.

Oh I was going to suggest Chase.

There was a spangle on a rescue page called Chase and I thought it was a great name
