My dog has vomited pale red tinged bile - no flecks. Is it blood?

It was very watery but a pale thin red tinge with no lumps just some grass.He also hasn't had a poo today which is unusual.

He's absolutely fine in himself but he's a terrible scavenger so I'm worried he's eaten something dodgy

I'd ring your vet for advice. He could have a blockage? My friends dog has been really ill this week from scavenging around a campfire on a camping weekend.....they had to sedate and xray as he had blood from both ends but thankfully there was no blockage, just a very upset tummy and he's on antibiotics and a special diet.

Thanks - I think it's only an emergency one at this time and it's nowhere near me and costs £350 just for a consultation., also my husband is out with the car and In charge of the kids. Not sure what to do - I think I'll have to wait for the morning.
