The doghouse

Non human dog name?

It's for a fictional dog, if it matters! :o DS (9) is writing a story for school.

He says it's a scruffy dog (I think a small terrier mix of sorts from the Google images he's looked at :) )

I've suggest Sparky or Pickles but both of those are no good.

Mine isn't a terrier, but he's called Brock - as in badgers, so it could be a good terrier name.

My dogs have only had human names if they came with them, so I've had a sparky and an Ugly, um...it's a cat, but I still think it's a great name - Flump Grin

Sort of human names have been, Clyde, Basil and Dusty. (I say sort of because Clyde was after the river, basil, the herb and dusty wasn't her real name)

Most dogs I've met in years have human names though.

I knew dogs called Scrambles and Poacher Grin also Porridge. Could he choose a food name for the dog? Like... bubble (bubble and squeak) or Rolo.

Bonita (Bone-eater!) I have a feeling actually it's a real name but so rare surely it passes!

Ruffles. Or another animal name - Frog, Cricket, Mouse.
