Best food for shih tzu

We have a 14 week old shih tzu and I would like to change his food. He is having royal canin shih tzu dry food, recommended by the breeder.
Having done some research I would like to swap to a different dry food.
Just wondered if there are any foods which seem to be better than others?
I have looked at reviews on allaboutdogfood web site but really need recommendations please.

I just looked for ones that were between 4 and 5 on the allaboutdogfood website and compared the prices.

I then got a small bag of a couple of ones I thought might be ok to make sure my dog liked the taste and went from there.

Regardless of the breed please feed raw! Research it. It's absolutely the best thing for any dog
