My sister has had a dog now for a few months and her birthday is coming up fast. I was wondering what things might go down well.

Warm hat and gloves for winter walks?
Anything anyone really feels they can't do without?

Thanks to anyone with ideas!

Torch so we still walk through the woods at night in winter!

Warm gloves, hats, scarves etc if your sister's not a knitter. Or something with a picture of her dog on, maybe? (I wouldn't say no to a nice big mug with a picture of my dog, or similar, on and a pile of marshmallows and hot chocolate for when I get in from winter dog walks!)

I find the sort of gloves with half fingers and a mitten 'flap' good for winter dog walking - need manual dexterity for dealing with the poop bags.

If you're looking for dog-themed gifts the Dogs Trust has quite a few www.dogstrustgifts.com

Oh the mitten flap gloves are a brilliant idea, thanks!
