Dog won't go in the car and she needs a vet?

My new dog has some serious fear of cars and will NOT get in. She needs to see the vet urgently and I haven't been able to take her ! I tried luring her in with treats and toys but she can barely get close to the car. I wish I could force her in but she's large and I don't know what to do. She has diarrhea and needs to see the vet immediately. :(
Help.

I would get someone to help and lift her in.
Muzzle her if you need to and double lead her just incase.

Once the emergency is over I would seek professional help and try some behavioural training so she sees the car as a good thing.

Failing that can your vet do a call out?

I feel your pain - I have a large dog who I have had to take to the vet recently - he is 28 kg and I weigh 54 kg
I found a firm 'mounting block' which raised him about 6 inches off the ground and get his paws in while 'hoiking' the rest of him to follow and I have a small car and he had a bad leg!
The ultimate solution is to get someone else to lift front end in then both of you hoist the back end.
Good luck - hope any of that helps.

Get the vet to come to you , if your vet doesn't do home visits find one that does , any that have a large animal practice will definitely visit.

We tried putting treats in the car and she barely started entering. I found blood dripping from her anus so I thought you know what? That's it you're getting in the car!
I put a bowl and added some treats a little further away in the car so she stretched to get it and I pushed her in and closed the door quicly. The car ride was horrible at first and she even vomited. Vets assured me she was okay and was in heat. Hopefully I'm getting her spayed soon.

Thank you all.

We had to go to an emergency vet hospital since we didn't have an appointment.
