leaving dog indoors in this heat?

Have gone out and left Ddog in our front room, with windows open, curtains shut and water. I'm now worrying. Will be ok confined to one (large) room in this heat?

Better off in doors than out in the blazing sunshine.

I've been at home during this heatwave, but haven't let Dog out for more than a wee before our evening walk as she hasn't got the brains to keep out of the sun and would burn/overheat in no time (black greyhound). I think they're definitely safer indoors than outside, especially with all the precautions you've taken.
