Pretty urgent diabetes question - food before or after jab?

We've been told insulin 1 hr before food. Everything I've read online tonight says food first, then jab.

Any quick help please? V worried, Ddog only diagnosed this week.

There are different opinions on this. Me, I am a fan of dog eats and gets insulin whilst eating.
However, there is an equal school of thought that insulin 1 hour before food will stimulate appetite.
So neither is right and neither is wrong just two different opinions on treatment both equally valid.
