Good name for a female Border Terrier?

We haven't got her yet, not sure when we're picking her up, still need to decide on when would be best. Her name is Rye at the moment, but I don't like it. I prefer names with two syllables.

She's a really lovely dog, very calm and sweet. She took a treat off my 4yo DD ever so gently :)

Names I like-
Willow
Molly

Names that can't be used-
Poppy
Milly
Grace

Our boy Bt are Jack and Eric , they have two BT girlfriends called Tally and Martha . And there's Mabel as well xx make sure you post a picture , I am so excited for you.

Can I just hijack and say it's so nice to hear of other BT's on here. Our Ivor is our first dog - 7 months now. It took us ages to choose a breed and we're utterly in love with him. He's so friendly and fearless. Best dogs ever!

TheCunnyFunt · 06/12/2015 16:15

Rye is luffly, she is so sweet. Except that she is frightened of men, she has improved with DH though so fingers crossed we are keeping her.

We did originally go to see a boy BT and I was planning on changing his name to Gizmo :o it really suited him actually even though he was all wrong for us.

Agnes or Aggie, Maggie, Betsy. Earwig is awful, sorry!

TheCunnyFunt · 06/12/2015 16:43

I still like Molly. After Molly Weasley from Harry Potter. She's feisty but a sweet person. Rye is currently shy and timid, but sweet. I think she'll be relatively feisty once she's completely left her shell.

What about Lyra? Feisty heroine and a similar enough sound to Rye to make the name change easy.

Agree with Tessa for a Border Terrier. Either that of Teresa, I think somehow works.

I really like Rye.
I like Bracken or Bramble. I know a border called Crumpet!
