does anyone else have a dog that watches fireworks?

My next door neighbour has decided I must be crackers as, bless them, her two dogs are terrified, my daft-scared-of-his-shadow dog watches them out of the window, ears pricked, wagging his tail. Doesn't even blink if we're out walking and they go off - thank God as they've been going off since September! Anyone else?

My dog doesn't watch them but isn't bothered by them. Like your dog, if we're out walking and one goes off she doesn't even look towards the sound. My daughter's dog - my dog's older sister - is the same.

I used to have a cat who would sit and watch fireworks through the glass patio door on bonfire night. He'd spend the whole evening banging on the cat flap because he wanted to get out there.

If he was out in the garden and someone nearby let off firework he's sit there staring at the explosion in the sky clearly loving the sight.
