Anyone care to hazard a guess?

We have a dog! We've had her for 6 weeks. Story is -is that she was found abandoned on streets of Glasgow when she was about 2, and was taken to dog pound.

My friends parents took her in, and loved her dearly. 7 years later, they both died Sad my friend was a bit stuck and quite worried about the dog. Quite apart from the fact that her parents had died Sad

Cut a long story short - doggy came to us. We thought long and hard, and two days a week she goes to doggy day care when there is no-one around, and she loves it!

She is a lovely dog and has settled really well - she is 9 now and can walk for miles, but also loves time snuggled up with us.

She is fit and well and happy.

But am just wondering what on earth she is! She is quite dog dominant, and such a stalker with a high prey drive. When she sees something moving, she goes right into stalker mode.

I think there might be some gsd in there somewhere.

Has anyone any guesses?

Some sort of bull breed in there also Id say

knackered69 · 12/10/2015 23:01

I wondered that too - facially from certain angles. I just have this vision of some numpty breeding a gsd and a staffie in the hopes of getting a really fierce dog, and ending up with my Daisy...

Her eyes have a weirdly human aspect to them.:)

Definitely looks like a bit of staffie in there. Maybe some Rottie?

LimeJellyHead · 13/10/2015 13:56

I am seeing Staffy in her head shape and eyes, for sure.

I agree with the above guesses, but something about her reminds me of my lightweight type yellow lab too. Whatever she is, she's lovely.

tabulahrasa · 13/10/2015 17:43

There could be some rottie in there...but unless she's a lot bigger than she looks I'd go with staffy and GSD.

Gsd boxer? My boy has gsd and I can see the resemblance in the face

Anyone care to hazard a guess?

Actually, I think i see staff too. I love staffs!

LocalEditorEssex · 13/10/2015 17:50

Rottweiler x gsd x something else Grin

Lolimax · 13/10/2015 17:51

Whatever she is I'm so glad she's found a loving forever home with you!
