Dog out of sorts

She's nearly two years old and a very active little terrier. We took her on quite a long walk yesterday & when we stopped at the pet shop to get her food they didn't have her usual flavour so we got a different one (same brand). I generally try to avoid changing her food in anyway as it does give her dodgy poos. Since 4am she's been really restless, pacing around and not settling. I took her out for a wee and poo around 5 but she still hasn't settled. She's alternating between pacing around and staring sadly at me. She's eaten her food and her poos are normal. Anyone have any thoughts?

How are you feeling? My boy gets sad when I'm sad, agitated when I'm agitated, etc x

she could have had an alergic reaction to a different ingredient in the new food. She didn't eat anything that you noticed on the walk did she?

To be on the safe side I'd take her to your vets.

She seems a lot better now. I thought I'd take her out for a short walk and if she still seemed listless take her to the vets then. She did two massive poos and then proceeded to have a happy game of chase with another dog. Thanks for your replies. I'll keep a close eye on her but she seems to be back to her old self now.

Glad she's feeling better. I get frustrated when my boy is agitated. Unfortunately, he's that type. Getting better with age though
