For DDog3, a staffieXwhippet.
Despite her certain belief that she is in fact a spaniel, her thin coat and skin make all day spanielling a trauma. Normal coats are torn within seconds on barbed wire and she's normally soaked to the skin by elevenses Hmm

So what I need is a fitted neoprene jacket but I'm struggling to source one that will fit in the UK. The closest I've found is the Jack Pyke gun dog vest but the sizing will all be wrong. In desperation I may even resort to asking at the local wetsuit manufacturers if they would attempt a one off- it would doubtless be cheaper than having her stitched back together Hmm

This any good? I've never used one so can't personally recommend it but looks like it might fit the bill.

Ooh trionic, that looks like it may be exactly what I'm after
Thanks pseudo, we've tried some like that but they don't fit tight enough so get snagged IYSWIM? It's always been a difficult one as the coat is predominantly for when we go beating. DDogs1 & 2 are spaniels so plough through the thickest undergrowth without a qualm, closely followed by DDog3. It's a perfect recipe for a Saturday afternoon emergency vets appointment Hmm

Just in case anyone is still browsing this thread - I agree with TrionicLettuce countrymun.com/neoprene-wetsuit.html. We have bought these in the past and they are really good. I think they do custom sizes as well.
