He is now 13 weeks .and seeems to not like walking on lead much keeps sitting down

Once at field he is quite happy to mooch round on his lead no problems then or on way home he is pretty good to so not like it is traffic that scaring him as he happily ignores it on return
.
It is just going he seems to dislike .We have tried with people walking which works for a few mins then he sits down
Loves people and other dogs and nothing that put him of ,Also took him out from 8 weeks out and about

any hints or tips please as can see my plans of when he older being able out and enjoy walks together fading

Not a great deal of advice but my dog was the same. We would get out the front door and she would sit there looking sad and refusing to move.

I don't think it's that unusual for young puppies to be a bit reluctant to walk outside. I found encouraging her gently and treating her did the trick. Took a while - weeks, rather than months, but with patience and treats eventually we got to the end of the street and into the park:)

She's nearly four years old now and like most dogs loves the kind of lovely long walks you're dreaming off.

It will happen.

My pup was like this initially, we just persevered and he's keen now. A routine helped.

My dog was the same, I used to carry him part of the way he was tiny, as you say once in park was fine. I think give him a carry if he needs reassurance, and preserve but don't force it.

My puppy was the same & came on mumsnet for advice. It was perseverance, treats & lots of praise, short walks & getting over my embarrassment with a stubborn puppy. He got over it in a matter of weeks. Keep going!

Mine was like, we had to carry him out.
