Before I pay someone to come and tell me what to do with Dpup I thought I'd put it out to you wonderful lot!
Dpup is nearly 9 months old, she's a pointer x vizsla and bloody fantastic with our 2 young children. Unfortunately I cannot physically control her excitement with anyone outside of our immediate family. We're a sociable lot and my family and friends are in and out daily but no matter how many times any of them come she will not stop jumping up at them constantly. She's marginally more restrained around elderly people and small children but still whips her tail manically whilst trying to get as close as possible to them.
I've never experienced persistent jumping up in any of my dogs before. Am I missing an obvious way to sort this?!
