Hiya

After some advice for some good dog dry shampoo. Used to use the dogs trust foam one which was awesome, smelt heavenly and lasted a while but they've stopped making it.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Murphy loves his run in the field, even if he was short haired I can't imagine not bathing him for a year let alone two. Aside from the muddy field aspect surely a dog will get sweaty from exertion and smell?

The shampoo is great for 'between baths'. He sleeps at the end of dd's bed and I don't think she'd be impressed with a honking Scott in her room Grin

Bumping this to say poundland have a dry shampoo in the style of batiste for dogs in stock now. Brilliant stuff and smells divine.
Keep an eye out and stock up! It's Called 'messy mutts'

The Pet Head dry dog shampoo www.dfordog.co.uk/pet-head-dry-dog-shampoo.html smells of Strawberry Lemonade. Free from parabens too.

SistersOfPercy · 20/08/2015 13:41

You could buy 15 cans of Poundlands messy mutt for one bottle of pet head. Actually make that 18 cans with shipping!! Shock
Looking at the can the messy mutts stuff is free from Parabens too.

Not a hope would I pay £18.19p more for a product containing only 100ml more.

Has anyone tried PetHead Dry Clean? It's on Amazon (and many other places) and seems to get really good reviews

NatFrenchie · 21/08/2015 10:37

Just realised someone upthread referred to Pet Head too! The one I'm talking about is different - it's actually £7.99 on Amazon so much cheaper.

LimeJellyHead · 21/08/2015 11:31

I have never tried the Poundland version so can't comment... I just love Pet Head. I used to love their human hair products too Smile

Is it OK to use a light sprinkling of Johnsons Baby Powder?

SistersOfPercy · 22/08/2015 14:02

Depending on the dog, yes Eliza. I used to use a liberal sprinkling on our westie to freshen him up but he had no allergies. I believe some use cornflour at shows as well.
