Can a puppy have too much sleep?

He's been asleep for nearly 3 hours now
Will he still sleep tonight?
He's 13 weeks old (and gorgeous by the way).

Ozzy sleeps for anything from half an hour to three hours between 1pm and 8pm. he generally goes to proper sleep around 9 or 10 so I've not noticed it make any differences to that but I do wonder sometimes if it messes up his routine for the next morning etc

I think puppies can sleep up to 20 hours a day - they're growing!!! Mine was either sound asleep or VERY awake and tearing around when he was little

Yep, it seemed to have no affect on night time sleep, thank goodness.
