blergghhh fishy puppy stinks!

I think but not sure puppy 6 months is coming into season .Her bits are a bit swollen and she stinks very fishy! Think unwashed for a month lady. Is this normal?! She is eating,playing toileting fine?!

When my dog smells a bit fishy round the bottom area her anal glands need emptied!

I was just about to say anal glands

I was set to take her to vets.She then did a very gross poop and the smell has gone! Can these things ever fix themselves?!

Then it was likely to be her anal glands emptying when her poo came out, one of the lovely things you dont know about dogs until you have them :)

Yes I learn something new every day .The farting should also come with a health hazard !
