I need to be out for longer than usual today. Can Biggy be left with a bone? (Nice big marrowbone).

I never did, as bits can chip off in shards and get caught in the throat, but I'm a born worrier.

Kongs are better with a filling of pate or peanut butter,

I did used to leave mine with a Jumbone sometimes, the soft squidgy ones, and treats in a roller ball.

Actually D2 will be home by 1.30 so not too bad.

I worry about the what-ifs too.

I don't give my dog bones after my old dog's bowel was ripped by shards of it. Agree with the Kong idea I've got one of the big Kongs that you put treats in...my dog will happily bash that about for hours.

You shouldn't really leave your dog with any big food item, as all the warnings on the packaging tell you
