Horrid ear infection? What can I do tonight please?

Noticed earlier Delilah's ear is really red and angry looking. The other ear is fine. I cleaned it with hibiscrub and have either Savlon or fucidin cream, both of which I know aren't ideal.

I will take her to the vets tomorrow but, apart from cleaning the gunk from her ear, is there anything I can do till then? TBH she doesn't seem in too much distress and I may be being PFB.

She's probably sorted now but didn't want to leave you unanswered.
I had what we lovingly deemed a duff westie. He had flopped ears which resulted in lots of ear infections. I had a bottle of boiled cool water and in it a splash of white vinegar which we used to clean out the ear. If it was especially annoying for him he'd half half a human piriton tablet.

Both of these things helped settle him until he saw the vet and we managed the problem quite well over the years.

Hope she's feeling better today.
