I had my dog spayed after her first season. The op was in June and all went well. However, over the last couple of days she has begun acting exactly as she did during her season. There is no blood or discharge and her vagina is no swollen. But her behavior is the same, she has taken to her bed, doesn't want to go for walks and has now started to "hump" my sons legs.
Has anyone had any experience of this? Is this normal?
I am worried the vets didn't do the spay correctly. Am awaiting a call back from them.
