We have 4 kids ranging from 2 to 14. We have a large enclosed garden and I'm a SAHM. We have plenty of time or opportunity to walk a dog.
We would prefer a small dog rather than a large one.

Can u recommend a breed pls.

Thanks

Interesting! Any recommendations for a medium-size non-yappy dog? I think DS (autistic) might benefit hugely from one, but he's pretty sensitive to noise. Next-door's yappy lurcher drives him bonkers.

('Wuff' is fine. 'Yip-yip-yip-yip-yap-grrr-aroooo' would not go down well.)

Small greyhound/whippet.

My DS (probably HFA + other SN) adores our grey. He's quiet and affectionate without being licky. He presses his head gently against your leg/hand when he wants a cuddle and leans in to you for affection. He (the dog) is very people centric and quiet and despite being huge is a very very easy going personality to have around.

He does do a big bark when he sees a cat etc tho.
