dog upset tummy - do i feed as usual?

i wonder if it was taking her out for a long walk in the heat yesterdya Sad though it was 4 pm not noon.
she has been sick twice and is sleeping.
do i give rice or pasta? or her usual dried feed?

nope, the vet will tell you to starve her for 24 hours then give her a light diets, boiled egg, rice, chicken etc. If she keeps that down then gradually introduce her normal diet, don't overload her and give her plently of fluid but don't let her gulp at it.

Boiled rice and plain chicken or a little egg for a day should settles it and then gradually introduce normal food .

We used to advise a 24 hour fast but now know that it's better to offer very small amounts of light food. Rice and chicken is perfect, just a spoonful or two 3-4 hours. If she seems to be getting floppier and the vomiting persists, see a vet.

she has looked at me oddly when i give her rice in the past,
