Does anyone use a raised dog bed for their dog?

My 9 month old cocker needs a new bed and I have seen

and think they may be a good idea as the floor does get cold, and in the winter condensation has made the bottom of his bed a bit damp at times. But they are quite expensive, can anyone recommend any other makes, and is it a good idea??

I have one for my dog and he likes it.

Really useful for camping with a bit of vet bed on top. Stops him from wanting to share my camp bed and sleeping on my head/trapping my legs in the sleeping bag.

lilcamper is it this actual make (hi k9) or another one? Glad your dog likes it! I'm not a camper but still considering one.

It is that actual make. He sleeps in our room on it and no longer sneaks onto our bed in the night.
