Hi, we may be moving to Portsmouth/Southsea. Does anyone know this area and where the most dog friendly walks, parks etc are?
Thanks.

Hi, I'm in Southsea. Not a dog owner but there is the whole of Southsea Common and seafront at your disposal!

Thanks, I was hoping the beach would be dog friendly! My dog loves water!

You'd have to check as some areas are dog free may-sept.
There are lots of country parks and Bere Forest not far away.

You can take dogs on the wightlink over to the isle of Wight too :)
We have loved doing this :o

We used to live in south sea - where we had our first dog. Lovely walks on common and beach. There were loads of really friendly dog owners. We also used to drive up to Moorlands way (off eastern road) and there's a big common by the sea that dogs love (5mins in car) - can't remember name of common. Loads of really good woody/country walks a bit further afield (100 acre wood, And lots past Southwick). Queen Elizabeth country park also amazing, about 10-15 mins in car. Enjoy!
