Good luck, I have had my new rescue for a week and a half now, she is currently snoring next to me on my bed :)

Also bumped into the vicar from the local church while dog walking this morning and she got a rescue from Cyprus on Sunday.

Oh did she? It was a chance post on Facebook that led me to him, I didn't realise the process would be so easy.

So many beautiful dogs out there bjust dumped at the end of hunting season Sad I really am in awe of all the rescuers out there, they do such amazing work, it must be heartbraking.

It was Jodies Cyprus dogs my boys coming from, just seen on Fb he has landed, eeek!

How lovely! GSPs are such beautiful dogs. I follow some of the Cyprus, Spain and Greek rescues and it's heartbreaking to see how many hunting dogs (in particular) are discarded, mistreated and abandoned.

But we need pictures (and from you too Gobblers). Put some up as soon as possible! Smile

We will need LOTS of photos :)

Well he is here! Had a very excitable first walk and he is currently snoring! Will get photos tomorrow.

Hello Brodyboo and everyone else,
Just wondering how it's all worked out for you?
We have just reserved a pointer-cross through the lovely Jodies Cyprus Dog Rehoming, and are v. excited. She too was abandoned to starve in the mountains.
Did yours manage to settle in well into a home environment? She will be 10 months, so I'm hoping she'll be quite adaptable.
Any advice much appreciated!
Megan
