Is ebay the best bet? If so, are the horsey ones a good idea? Thanks Smile

We got ours from ebay but went with cushioned as they can be a bit sore on the hands!! In the past we've also used horse lunge lines too there isn't much difference in either.

Ebay. Don't go for a horsey branded one, add 'equine' to the title and it will cost 50% more (same sort of effect as anything 'wedding' Grin) I've had several of the 50ft ones advertised for dogs at around the £7 mark and they are good quality.

The cushioned or cotton webbing ones tend to suck up water, become heavy and dye your hands, the seatbelt type nylon ones are lighter.

Excellent will have a look. No chance of water being an issue for us, he avoids puddles and rain like he's going to dissolve. Thank you!

I've got this one from Amazon which works well.

Have you considered customising a washing line? Much cheaper, and all you need to do to it is work a strong knot around a standard carabiniere clip. Being nylon, it doesn't pick up water, and if you get it in a nice bright colour you should be able to trace it more easily (we've got a baggage rescue who will keep getting herself tangled up in trees and then just sits and waits for us and won't bark to help us find her)

weedonleg · 24/05/2014 08:48

AlpacaLypse Do you mean the cord type ones or the plastic coated steel ones?

What length one do you use? Thanks!

toboldlygo · 24/05/2014 15:50

These are the sort I use.

TooOldForGlitter · 24/05/2014 19:28
