12 month old lab pup got back from long walk this morning and started gagging.

Threw up about 3 times in 30 minutes but kept gagging, retching, coughing, moving tongue about strangely like something was stuck. Took to vets at 1pm, and they are worried, they've done X-rays and bloods but found nothing yet. Say he has a lot of gas inside and lots of flatulance. Last phone call said now has a very dire rear and he's on fluids and some meds Sad

Not sure if it a blockage (he's a chewer) or gastro (also a scavenger) Or something else. So keeping in overnight and more X-rays, blood results in morning.

Poor wee soul will be in a cage at the vets feeling very sorry for himself and wondering why I took him back to that nasty place (had to carry 29kg of lab into vets as he wouldnt go in, as last time he was there he was neutered). Sad. Want to go back in and give him a cuddle.

(Thank god we've got PetPlan!)

Ahh bless him. Hope he feels better in the morning and has a restful night.

I've thanked God for Petplan a few times too!
