Soft coated wheaten terrier puppy cost?

I have emailed a breeder about seeing an adult dog , no answer yet but does anyone know how much puppies are before I get excited?

So lovely to see they all have tails now too. They were all docked back when we got ours.

I don't have any photos of our girl on this laptop or I'd post a couple for you.

Oh, hang on, I do have one - from when she was 4 years old and trimmed quite short, as I'd not long had ds1. This is a picture of my wheaten girl and Oldgirl when she was a pup, with ds1. Not a great photo of any of them, but it's the only one I have I can post as the others are all backed up on the external hard drive. They look like they were guarding him, but actually they were at the kitchen door begging!

Re the docked tail. Our Wheatie has a docked tail - because that was normal practice back then - but it's clearly wrong.

I've listened to the soundalike for moosemama's lurcher - brill.

I wish I could convey the full range of our Wheatie's voice. It's hilarious. She actually argues with us. (My husband maintains that you can't trust her version of events.) She's kept us going for years.

My only concern is that my children will think that all dogs talk. They are doomed to disappointment.
